Fourth Generation Farming

The Gorrill Ranch is a diversified fourth generation family farming operation located in the Northern California Sacramento Valley. Our farm produces premium California rice varieties and permanent tree crops including almonds, pecans, and walnuts.

Only 4% of family businesses survive to reach the 4th generation. While we can attest to the challenge remaining a family business entails—ultimately, it is a testament to our founders, Ralph and his daughters, that we have lasted for over a Century. They instilled a love of farming and a sense of stewardship of the land that provided the opportunity to be in business today.
